Neighborhood Watch
Our neighborhood participates in the Neighborhood Watch program. This simply means we all watch out for each other. No one knows our neighborhood better than our residents.
If you see anything or anyone suspicious, call the Non-Emergency Sheriff’s department (215-2444) or 911 if emergency related. Be sure to write down all information regarding the suspicious person: description of the person; details about car if they are occupying one (make, model, color and license plate). Also, if appropriate, post the information on our NextDoor page to alert all neighbors of the suspicious activity so everyone can be on the alert. You can also notify the WHA board directly via email, which you can find on the board members page.
If you are going to be away from your home for an extended period of time, it is important to leave information with a trusted friend or neighbor, such as:
- Where you are going
- How you can be reached in case of an emergency
- When you expect to return
- If anybody will be at your home, i.e. yard care, pet care, relatives, etc.
