Community Pool
Come cool off with your neighbors in our beautiful swimming pool! It’s a great place to beat the heat while you meet and greet!
Reservations:
If you would like to reserve the pool area, please contact any board member. Please note: You are reserving the back deck, and not the entire pool. You may not prohibit anyone from entering and enjoying the pool.
Rules:
- Homeowners are welcome to bring limited guests to the pool, however it is the homeowners responsibility to ensure their guests behave according to the rules posted at the pool. We ask that the gate remained closed and locked at all times.
- Pool Hours: The Pool opens at 10:00am and closes at 10:00pm. Please be respectful of your neighbors and do not use the pool outside these hours.
- THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD! No one under 14 years of age should be at the pool without a parent or guardian. PLEASE, OBEY POSTED POOL RULES.
- You MUST have a key to enter the pool area. Under no circumstances should anyone climb over the
fence or deck area. This causes damage which costs our neighborhood more money each year in
repairs. - ALWAYS lock the gate behind you (entering and leaving). This will cut down on non-residents using the pool.
- Our pool is maintained by you – we do not have a cleaning service.
- Please pick up your trash and place in the trash can.
- If you spill drinks or drop food, please wash off the pool deck. This will help eliminate ants and other insect problems.
- If you smoke, please use an ashtray. Do not leave your ashes and cigarette butts lying around the pool.
- Please straighten the chairs and tables after using them.
- No grills allowed at the pool.
- Adults need to help make teens responsible for cleaning up their mess. If you do not want to ask them to clean up, be prepared to clean up after them.
- Guests: The pool is for Westhampton homeowners and their guests. A homeowner must accompany guests at all times. The guest should know the homeowner’s information (name and address).
- Non-Residents Using the Pool: We have had serious problems with persons from other neighborhoods breaking into/sneaking into our pool and using it. If you suspect someone is at the pool that doesn’t belong there, ask them who they are and where the homeowner is. If they don’t belong, ask them to leave. We all pay and several work to maintain our pool. If anyone shows up without a key, think twice before opening the gate for them. Make sure they belong. If you encounter any problems, call the Sheriff’s Department: 215-2444.
- Radios/Music: Please be respectful of persons using the pool and of the homeowners that live near the pool when playing music. Keep the volume to a respectable level and please be mindful of your music selections, especially when there are children at the pool.
- Please use the gravel trail and not the homeowner’s yard. Do not climb over the deck railing.
- If you are interested in having a party at the pool, please contact Dottie Walker – croftdottie@aol.com (531-3650) or Clinton Ball – clintonball@comcast.net (690-9443) to reserve the back deck. The pool cannot be closed to others, but you can reserve the deck. You are responsible for cleaning up after your party. Water balloons are not allowed. Please bring trash bags with you and discard all trash from your party into the trash cans provided. After your party, please patrol the entire pool and deck area and make sure it is all clean.
